Floating downstream along Li River, after passing Mural Hill, you will find the Yellow Cloth Shoal. The cliffs become steeper while the water wider and calmer. The water is so limpid that the reflection of yellow flat flagstone can be seen on the water. It resembles a yellow cloth spreading there, hence the name Yellow Cloth Shoal. It is the best place to view the reflection of peaks in the water.

On both sides of the river, there are seven peaks in various gestures and sizes. They seem like seven elegant and graceful girls. Imaginative people give them the beautiful name of "Seven Celestial Sisters Coming Down to Earth." A legend has it that they are seven fairies from the Heaven. When they traveled the Li River and deeply attracted by the beautiful scenery. They refused to return to the heaven when the god asked them to do that. Finally they turned into seven peaks standing besides Li River.

Enticing as the reflections are, not all visitors have the good luck to fully enjoy them. On rainy days, the reflections are destroyed by raindrops and on foggy days, they are blurred by mist. Only on sunny days can the reflection be best seen and visitors can at that time fully enjoy the reflection there.
