days: Shanghai /Wuhan/Yichang/Yangtze River Cruise - Three Gorges Dam -
Shennong Stream Excursion- Shibaozhai Excursion /Chongqing/Xian/ Beijing
Day 1 Fly to Shanghai
Fly your international flight to Shanghai. Group members departing from
other countries or cities should arrange your arrival in Shanghai next
day.
Day 2 Arrive Shanghai
Arrive Shanghai, China's most populous city and a rising economic center
in Asia. Our guide and driver will greet you at the airport and escort
you to Your hotel.
Day 3 Shanghai (B,
L, D)
Stroll along the world famous Bund waterfront, where your guide will show
you the landmarks along China's Wall Street and one of the world's highest
buildings in the newly developed land across the bustling Huangpu River.
In the afternoon, shop along the Old City Town and Nanjing Road Shanghai's
past and present center business districts. Also visit Jade Buddha Temple
and carpet factory. At night enjoy a wonderful Shanghai acrobatic show.
Day 4 Shanghai -
Excursion Zhujiajiao (B, L, D)
Morning excursion to Zhujiajiao, a picturesque river-town near Shanghai.
Enjoy the countryside scenery and local people's life style. Afternoon,
back to Shanghai and visit the Shanghai Museum.
Day 5 Shanghai/Wuhan/Yichang/Yangtze
River Cruise (B, L, D)
Take the morning flight for Wuhan. Transfer from Wuhan to Yichang to board
Yangtze River cruise ship. Stay overnight on board.
Day 6 Yangtze River
Cruise - Three Gorges Dam (B, L, D)
Visit the giant hydro-project -- Three Gorges Dam. Stop for a closer look
at the world's largest man-made architecture comparable to the Great Wall.
Atop Jar Ridge, you could have a bird's view of the Three Gorges Dam site
and 5 level ship locks.
Day 7 Yangtze River
Cruise - Shennong Stream Excursion (B, L, D)
Excursion to Shennong Stream. Entering the first gorge, Qutang Gorge this
morning, you will see the high peaks, sheer cliffs, and the narrow "gates"
of the waterway when the great river still in the upper reaches shaping.
Then we come to Wu Gorge, the most beautiful parts of the Three Gorges.
Stopping at Badong, a small town, at 10 am and transferring to the local
boat at Shennong Stream for a shore excursion.
Day 8 Yangtze River
Cruise - Shibaozhai Excursion (B, L, D)
Shore excursion to Shibaozhai, 12- floor tower, which was build during
Qing Dynasty and now has 300-year history. Built on mountains, it is one
of the 8 fantastic buildings in the world.
Day 9 Yangtze River
Cruise/Chongqing/Xian (B, L, D)
The cruise ship arrives in Chongqing in the morning, disembark the ship
at around 9 am. Sightseeing in Chongqing. Take an afternoon flight for
Xian, An ancient capital for 13 dynasties and now a modern metro city.
Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for overnight.
Day 10 Xian (B, L,
D)
Today, we set off to view China's first emperor's 6,000 life-size Terra-cotta
Soldiers and their horses, chariots, and weapons, "the eighth wonder
of the world". Also visit legendary Wild Goose Pagoda and the ancient
City Wall. If time permits, visit Banpo Neolithic Museum. A marvelous
Tang Dynasty dumpling dinner and show.
Day 11 Xian/Beijing
(B)
Take the morning flight to Beijing. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel.
Rest of the day, stay free leisure on your own.
Day 12 Beijing (B,
L, D)
Visit the world's largest plaza -- Tiananmen Square. The magnificent royal
court Forbidden City offers endless treasures and stories. Continue to
the Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace, the symbols of the country.
Day 13 Beijing (B,
L, D)
Great Wall, bordering the Gobi Desert. Walk on the Great Wall is going
to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Also visit the Ming Imperial Tombs.
An authentic Peking Duck farewell dinner party.
Day 14 Depart Beijing

After the breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
