Description: The fleet of M. S. Issabella Series consists of M. S.
Issabella 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7, all built in similar styles and structures
but not that in terms of interior decorations and room layouts. All these
ships are up to international 3-star standard. First launched in 1987
with its old name Huayang, M. S. Issabella 1 is 79 meters long and 16
meters wide, with a draft of 2.5 meters and 2640 h. p.. She will be sailing
between Yichang and Chongqing in 2003, with a maximum speed of 27.5 kilometers
per hour in still water. It has had renovations in 1998 and 2001.
Accommodation:
It features 5 deluxe suites and 80 standard cabins with a total capacity
of 166 passengers. The standard cabin is
12 square meter big and deluxe suite is twice about that size.
Standard cabin: 10-17 square meters, provided with toilet, two
beds, telephone, TV, sofa, desk, tea table, wardrobe, bedside cupboard,
luggage rack, and so on.
Deluxe Suite:
twice as the standard cabin, besides the equipments as the standard cabins,
provided additionally with larger bed and more furniture, what's more,
it is more elegant, luxurious and cleaner.
Facility:
Saloon:
The wide and bright saloon, with the installation of service desk, sofa,
mini club and shop, etc, is the place for travelers to register, to leave
valuables, and to ask for porter service.
Bar and Entertainment Hall:
It's always on the fifth story of the cruise ship, and you can enjoy tea,
coffee, soft drink, book, magazine, electronic play, chess, weiqi, performance
and karaoke, etc, with the equipment of bar, shop, dance hall, mini meeting-room,
library and so on.
Observation Platform:
Travelers can enjoy the beautiful scenery along the Yangtze River, sitting
or lying on the chairs.
Playroom:
Playroom is set up specially to provide chess and card, equipped usually
with the chairs, mahjong table, and tea table, and have the waiter to
provide special service.
Business Center:
The place for service of telecom, telegraphs, fax and so on. It's convenient
to contact with the land with the mobile phone on board, what's more,
there're computers, slides, typewriters and duplicators to rent.
Shop:
It is usually in the salon at the first story or in the entertainment
hall at the fifth story, and deals with mainly antiques, paintings, jades,
folk clothes, albums of Changing, stamps, stones in Three Gorges and so
on.
Dining
According to different nationalities, diet habit, religion, culture and
so on, travelers are arranged with ten persons as a group, and each group
is served by regular steward. There're two types of buffet meal and table
meal, and the dining room has the accommodation of 160 persons.
