Day2 Kunming
Full day trip to Stone Forest.

Stone Forest: The world-famous Stone Forest lies within Shilin Yi Autonomous County. The forest is a special type of limestone formation known as karst. Some 270 million years ago the area was submerged and a thick layer of limestone deposited on the bottom. The movement of the earth's crust caused the sea bottom to thrust upward and became land, and through weathering and erosion, the stone was molded into pillars. From a distance, it looks indeed like a dense forest; hence the name of Stone Forest.

Day3 Kunming
Have city tours to Dragon Gate & West Hills and Grand View Park.

Dragon Gate: The Dragon Gate located on the Western Hills. It consists of the Sanqing temple Complex and the Dragon Gate Grotto Complex. The buildings of the Sanqing Daoist Temple are arranged in nine tiers: They are the Lingguan Hall, the Chunyang Pavilion, The Sanqing Hall, the Yuhuang Temple, the Taiqing Palace, the Zhenwu Hall, the Luzu Temple, the Qishen Temple, the Linxiao Pavilion, the Laojun Pavilion and the Taiji palace. The Dragon Gate Grotto Complex, on the other hand, includes Langhaichu, the Ciyun Cave, the Yunhua Cave and the Datian Pavilion.

West Hills: Lying 15 kilometers west of Kunming City, the Western Hills is close to the west shore of the Dianchi Lake. It consists of the Huating, Taihua, Taiping, Luohan and Guaban Peaks. The Western Hills stretches over 40 kilometers from north to south, at an elevation of 1,900 to 2,350 meters. It was said that when people saw phoenixes coming to the place in ancient times, they called them green peacocks so the whole mountain was also named the Green Peacock Mountain. Because the undulating skyline of these mountains resembles a sleeping Buddha or a sleeping Beauty with long tresses trailing southward. It is praised as Sleeping Buddha Mountain or Sleeping Beauty as well.

Day 1 Kunming
On arrival at Kunming, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Have city tours to Grand View Park and the Yuantong Temple.

The Grand View Tower: Grand View Park (Daguan Gongyuan) sits on the northern shores of the Dian Lake. Completed in 1690 during the Qing Dynasty, the park consists of hills, ponds, pavilions and rockeries in a style similar to that of the gardens of the Yangtze River Delta.

Day2 Kunming
Full day trip to The Stone Forest, Sani Minority House, Market of birds and flowers


Sani Minority House: Sani minority have lived here for hundreds of years. Sani girls in their colorful clothes like moving flowers .

Market of birds and flowers: a part of a series of streets and markets in central Kunming where an attempt has been made to preserve some of the typical architecture of the region. Traditional wooden houses with grass growing from their roofs line the streets where a variety of products are sold, including of course a small alley devoted to flowers and cage birds

Day3 Kunming
Full day trip of Yunnan Minority Village , The Dragon Gate on Xishan/West Hill, Transfer from Folklore Village to the Dragon Gate by Cable Car.

Yunnan Minority Village : The Nationalities Villages are situated by Dianchi Lake, 6 kilometers south of Kunming, covering about 133.3 hectares. Yunnan is an epitome of the family of the Chinese nation. There are 56 nationalities in China and 52 of them live in Yunnan. Among them 26 each has a population of more than 5,000, about 14 each has all or most of their population living in Yunnan and about 14 are cross-border nationalities.
